A localized project brief for activewear orders planned for Kuwait, covering specifications, samples, inspections, export terms and import checks.
Send a tech pack with garment type, fibre blend, size range, construction, quantity per style, label brief and destination. Confirm product and process support in a written quotation before sampling.
Availability depends on category and construction. Ask Fenalt to confirm the requested product, fabric and process in writing before samples or production.
Keep the performance target measurable and tie each check to the approved tech pack and sample.

Import checks for Kuwait
Classification and import conditions depend on the actual garment, fibre, construction, origin and trade terms. Check the current tariff with the official lookup and the buyer’s customs broker before estimating landed cost.
These sources are starting points for the buyer and importer. They do not establish a tariff rate or compliance result for an individual garment.
Local budgeting currency
KWD
Use Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) for local planning. Confirm invoice currency, bank charges, deposits and payment milestones in Fenalt’s written quotation; payment terms are order-specific.
Kuwait customs classification and import check
For a commercial import to Kuwait, ask the importer to confirm the current requirement for proof of its commercial activity or a customs code for its authorized broker. Kuwait Customs’ commercial import guide lists an original invoice and certificate of origin with the declaration, plus a delivery order, bill of lading and a packing list when there are multiple items. Ask the importer or broker to confirm the current documents for the actual shipment. Provide the exact garment type, construction, fibre composition and country of manufacture; ask them to determine customs origin separately and use the official HS search to verify the current code and tariff for that SKU. Do not rely on a rate shown for a different textile item.
Shipping and delivery terms
Before planning freight, ask Fenalt to confirm the available Incoterm, named place or port, responsibility for import clearance, duties and taxes, and any available transit estimate in the written quotation. Terms are order-specific.
Example: a buyer in Kuwait budgeting a knitted performance legging can give a broker its knit construction, fibre mix and garment details for classification before estimating duty.
Confirm fibre-content, care, origin, importer and language labelling requirements for the finished product with the local authority and importer. Requirements can vary by product and market.
Planning information only. Verify current classification, origin treatment, taxes and product labelling with the importing authority, customs broker and buyer’s compliance adviser.
