Performance fit and stretch recovery

Custom Activewear Manufacturing

Fenalt manufactures technical activewear for sportswear brands, gym wear lines, and athletic apparel startups.

We source four-way stretch fabrics, engineer anatomical panels, use specialized flatlock and coverstitch machines, and verify recovery, opacity, POM, color, and seams.

Direct answer

A single technical partner for activewear

Fenalt validates the tech pack, engineers four-way stretch patterns, matches 4-needle six-thread flatlock equipment, develops lab dips, and manages on-site inspection through vetted facilities.

The standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style. The production path covers material sourcing, sampling, client approval, bulk, and DAP or FOB export.

Silhouette engineering

Paneling for movement and support

01

Performance bottoms

High-waist compression leggings use double-layer waistbands, hidden pockets, and diamond or teardrop gussets. Two-in-one shorts combine woven shells with elastic liners. Joggers use articulated knees, zipper pockets, and dipped silicone aglets.

02

Support tops

High-impact bras use compression and encapsulation, bonded under-bands, removable molded cups, racerbacks, and laser-cut ventilation. Crop tops use brushed double layers, internal elastic, and cross-back straps.

03

Training layers

Raglan tops support overhead movement without lift. Seamless or cut-and-sew long sleeves use targeted mesh, thumbhole cuffs, and low-profile necklines.

Moisture wicking

Hydrophilic treatments accelerate sweat dispersion.

Anti-microbial

Silver-ion or eco-based treatments target odor build-up.

Squat-proof

Dense interlock maintains opaque coverage under multi-directional stretch.

Technical construction

Flat seams, elastic recovery, low drag

Machine and stitch selection protects both performance and skin comfort.

ISO 607 flatlock

Four-needle six-thread joins fabric edges flush for a zero-bulk, anti-chafing seam.

ISO 607

ISO 406 coverstitch

Three-needle coverstitch finishes hems, leg openings, and waistbands with elastic elongation.

ISO 406

Gussets and elastic

Double-layer or flatlocked diamond gussets redistribute stress; high-recovery internal elastic prevents waistband roll-down.

ISO 406

Branding and hems

Reflective, matte, silicone, or high-density heat transfers use calibrated pneumatic presses. Ultrasonic bonding and hot-melt films create bonded hems.

Questions and answers

Activewear manufacturing FAQs

What is the MOQ?

Fenalt's standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style.

Which seam methods are used?

ISO 607 four-needle six-thread flatlock creates low-bulk anti-chafing joins. ISO 406 three-needle coverstitch or ultrasonic bonding finishes hems, cuffs, and waistbands.

How do you prevent see-through fabric?

High-gauge interlock, multi-filament nylon or polyester, and 220–300 GSM constructions support opaque coverage. Every lot receives tension opacity or squat testing before cutting.

What are sampling lead times and costs?

Sampling takes 10–15 days plus 3–5 days courier. Cost depends on pattern complexity, trims, and lab dips; sample fees are typically credited toward a bulk commitment.

Can you use recycled technical fabrics?

Yes. GRS-certified recycled nylon and rPET blended with elastane can support sustainable compression and performance lines.

What is the bulk turnaround?

Bulk production is 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch.
