A localized project brief for activewear orders planned for Italy, covering specifications, samples, inspections, export terms and import checks.
Send a tech pack with garment type, fibre blend, size range, construction, quantity per style, label brief and destination. Confirm product and process support in a written quotation before sampling.
Availability depends on category and construction. Ask Fenalt to confirm the requested product, fabric and process in writing before samples or production.
Keep the performance target measurable and tie each check to the approved tech pack and sample.

Import checks for Italy
Classification and import conditions depend on the actual garment, fibre, construction, origin and trade terms. Check the current tariff with the official lookup and the buyer’s customs broker before estimating landed cost.
These sources are starting points for the buyer and importer. They do not establish a tariff rate or compliance result for an individual garment.
Local budgeting currency
EUR
Use Euro (EUR) for local planning. Confirm invoice currency, bank charges, deposits and payment milestones in Fenalt’s written quotation; payment terms are order-specific.
Italian textile-label and TARIC check before costing
For clothing sold to consumers in Italy, give the importer verified fibre composition and confirm Italian fibre names under EU Regulation 1007/2011. Italy’s D.Lgs. 190/2017 concerns sanctions for violations of the EU textile-labelling rules; ask a local label specialist to confirm its current application to the product before artwork approval. For import costing, give the broker garment type, construction, fibre mix and origin, then ask them to check the Italian Customs Agency TARIC tool and current measures; confirm transaction-specific VAT separately.
Shipping and delivery terms
Before planning freight, ask Fenalt to confirm the available Incoterm, named place or port, responsibility for import clearance, duties and taxes, and any available transit estimate in the written quotation. Terms are order-specific.
Example: a buyer in Italy budgeting a knitted performance legging can give a broker its knit construction, fibre mix and garment details for classification before estimating duty.
Confirm fibre-content, care, origin, importer and language labelling requirements for the finished product with the local authority and importer. Requirements can vary by product and market.
Planning information only. Verify current classification, origin treatment, taxes and product labelling with the importing authority, customs broker and buyer’s compliance adviser.
