A localized project brief for activewear orders planned for Denmark, covering specifications, samples, inspections, export terms and import checks.
Send a tech pack with garment type, fibre blend, size range, construction, quantity per style, label brief and destination. Confirm product and process support in a written quotation before sampling.
Availability depends on category and construction. Ask Fenalt to confirm the requested product, fabric and process in writing before samples or production.
Keep the performance target measurable and tie each check to the approved tech pack and sample.
01
Record fibre composition, knit or woven construction, size range and intended use.
02
Set stretch, recovery, opacity and any test methods with the buyer before sampling.
03
Agree fabric weight and measurement tolerances against the selected material; there is no universal GSM range.
02
Import checks for Denmark
Classification and import conditions depend on the actual garment, fibre, construction, origin and trade terms. Check the current tariff with the official lookup and the buyer’s customs broker before estimating landed cost.
These sources are starting points for the buyer and importer. They do not establish a tariff rate or compliance result for an individual garment.
Local budgeting currency
DKK
Use Danish Krone (DKK) for local planning. Confirm invoice currency, bank charges, deposits and payment milestones in Fenalt’s written quotation; payment terms are order-specific.
Danish label and tariff preparation
Before a Denmark launch, give the importer verified fibre composition by garment part and ask the broker to check the garment’s classification using its type, construction, fibre mix and origin. For each retail and transport packaging type, ask the Danish importer to identify the relevant manufacturer or importer role. Denmark’s Environmental Protection Agency says manufacturers must prepare a declaration of conformity and that, for packaging imported from outside the EU, the importer must ensure that a declaration exists and the manufacturer is identified. Ask the importer to assign who holds the required technical records and confirm the role-specific PPWR steps before approving packaging; do not assume Fenalt has a producer role.
Shipping and delivery terms
Before planning freight, ask Fenalt to confirm the available Incoterm, named place or port, responsibility for import clearance, duties and taxes, and any available transit estimate in the written quotation. Terms are order-specific.
Example: a buyer in Denmark budgeting a knitted performance legging can give a broker its knit construction, fibre mix and garment details for classification before estimating duty.
Confirm fibre-content, care, origin, importer and language labelling requirements for the finished product with the local authority and importer. Requirements can vary by product and market.
Planning information only. Verify current classification, origin treatment, taxes and product labelling with the importing authority, customs broker and buyer’s compliance adviser.
