A localized project brief for activewear orders planned for Switzerland, covering specifications, samples, inspections, export terms and import checks.
Send a tech pack with garment type, fibre blend, size range, construction, quantity per style, label brief and destination. Confirm product and process support in a written quotation before sampling.
Availability depends on category and construction. Ask Fenalt to confirm the requested product, fabric and process in writing before samples or production.
Keep the performance target measurable and tie each check to the approved tech pack and sample.

Import checks for Switzerland
Classification and import conditions depend on the actual garment, fibre, construction, origin and trade terms. Check the current tariff with the official lookup and the buyer’s customs broker before estimating landed cost.
These sources are starting points for the buyer and importer. They do not establish a tariff rate or compliance result for an individual garment.
Local budgeting currency
CHF
Use Swiss Franc (CHF) for local planning. Confirm invoice currency, bank charges, deposits and payment milestones in Fenalt’s written quotation; payment terms are order-specific.
Swiss industrial-duty and customs-declaration check
Since 1 January 2024, Swiss import duties on industrial products in HS Chapters 25–97, including clothing, have been zero regardless of origin. Customs declarations remain required: provide garment details so the importer or broker can confirm the correct tariff number and weight. VAT and other taxes remain; confirm transaction-specific charges before estimating landed cost.
Shipping and delivery terms
Before planning freight, ask Fenalt to confirm the available Incoterm, named place or port, responsibility for import clearance, duties and taxes, and any available transit estimate in the written quotation. Terms are order-specific.
Example: a buyer in Switzerland budgeting a knitted performance legging can give a broker its knit construction, fibre mix and garment details for classification before estimating duty.
Confirm fibre-content, care, origin, importer and language labelling requirements for the finished product with the local authority and importer. Requirements can vary by product and market.
Planning information only. Verify current classification, origin treatment, taxes and product labelling with the importing authority, customs broker and buyer’s compliance adviser.
