No. Intake submissions are evaluated based on material quality, technical compliance, and alignment with active client production briefs. Verified inventories are onboarded into our managed allocation system for active matching.
What defect rate is acceptable for surplus fabric rolls?
We evaluate fabric rolls using the international 4-Point System. Inventories exceeding 40 penalty points per 100 square yards are generally rejected, unless specifically re-graded and discounted for specialized cut-and-sew applications where defect bypass is feasible.
How does Fenalt handle communication with the end buyer?
Fenalt operates as the exclusive single point of contact and direct commercial counterparty for both the inventory supplier and the final garment buyer. All technical specifications, quality assurance protocols, and logistics operations are managed directly by Fenalt personnel.
Can stocklot suppliers submit inventory without brand de-branding?
If the fabric stocklot includes proprietary printed designs, intellectual property, or branded mill salvage edges, legal proof of release or authorization to re-sell and de-brand must be provided prior to onboarding.
What physical tolerances does Fenalt apply to fabric weight and width?
We apply standard commercial apparel industry tolerances across all points of measure, including a ±5% variance allowance on fabric weight (GSM) and usable width relative to the submitted technical specifications.
