Low-MOQ Clothing Manufacturing for South Korean Brands
Organize quantities by style, product specifications, and open decisions. Fenalt's reference minimum is 50 pieces per style. Feasibility, materials, costs, and terms are confirmed after project review.
Share a production briefPlan quantities by style
A total unit count alone is not enough to assess a small run. Fenalt's current reference minimum is 50 pieces per style; it does not guarantee that every fabric, construction, colour, size range, or design can be made at that quantity. List each style separately with its colour and size split. Do not combine styles unless the quote confirms that approach.
Separate confirmed specifications from options under review. Include garment type, knit or woven construction, fibre content, measurements, fit, trims, print or embroidery, labels, packaging, and unresolved choices.
Prepare the sample and production file
Share the current tech pack, graded measurements, construction details, artwork, material information, and inspection criteria. Record the version and approver for each change. Define what the sample needs to confirm, then approve the pre-production sample against the intended bulk specification. Open changes can affect cost, feasibility, and timing.
Plan sampling and production
Fenalt's sampling reference is 10–15 production days, plus a separate 3–5 day shipping reference. Bulk production is estimated at 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. These are planning estimates, not arrival guarantees. Materials, approvals, revisions, production origin, transport, and customs can affect timing; confirm the project schedule in writing.
Agree quality criteria for a small run
Define measurement points and tolerances, workmanship, shade variation, decoration placement, and product-specific tests before production. Fenalt's reference inspection plan is AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Level II. It is a sampling plan, not a full inspection of every unit or a defect-free guarantee. Confirm additional tests and metal detection for the product and facility.
Check Korean product and label requirements
Korean product-safety categories and marking depend on the exact garment and intended user. SafetyKorea category guidance and the KATS household textile standard are references; a Korean specialist and the responsible importer must confirm current scope, wording, and placement before printing. Do not assume one KC mark or test applies to all clothing.
Use verified finished-product fibre information and applicable responsible-party, care, warning, or traceability details. Do not make unsupported certification, test, or performance claims.
Confirm origin and import responsibilities
Korea Customs Service origin guidance says marking applies to designated imports. The importer or broker should check whether it applies and determine origin from actual production facts. A brand address, shipping port, or packing location does not establish origin. Check shipment-specific UNI-PASS records against the import declaration guidance.
The tariff database supports product-specific research. This page calculates no code, origin preference, rate, tax, or landed cost. Fenalt's DAP reference for small courier shipments and FOB Chattogram reference for bulk sea freight are conditional, not automatic for South Korean orders. Confirm the agreed term, named place or port, responsibilities, and exclusions in the quote.
Questions to resolve
- Is 50 pieces guaranteed for every style?
- It is Fenalt's current reference minimum. Confirm feasibility and final quantity in the quote.
- Does the bulk estimate include delivery to Korea?
- No. The 15–20 day reference runs from sample sign-off to export dispatch. Transport and customs are planned separately.
- Does every garment need a KC mark?
- There is no blanket conclusion here. Check current requirements for the exact product and intended user with a Korean specialist.
- Does this page calculate Korean duties or taxes?
- No. The importer or broker must confirm classification and current treatment for the exact goods and shipment.
