Production planning for independent labels
Small-batch clothing manufacturing for growing fashion brands.
A smaller production run can help structure the first stage of a collection. Fenalt reviews technical requirements, coordinates suitable production partners and manages the process through delivery.

What a small run can help you plan
A smaller order can be used to plan a style, fit or limited collection before committing to larger quantities. Suitable volume and feasibility depend on the garment, material, construction and production partner.
Fenalt coordinates manufacturing: requirements are reviewed and suitable options are assessed for the project. A small run does not by itself promise a particular price, production timeline or repeat order.
Questions to settle before requesting a quote
- What are you making?
- Describe the garment, materials, construction, size range and intended colours. These details help assess which production options fit the technical brief.
- What documentation is ready?
- A tech pack or available sketches, measurement charts and reference samples can support the technical review. Open questions should be resolved before the project plan is confirmed.
- What quantity is planned per style?
- Fenalt’s confirmed standard minimum is 50 pieces per style. List the planned quantity for each style alongside the selected colours, fabrics and finishes. Confirm the applicable minimum with the production partner before approving the specification.
- Which quality requirements apply?
- Inspection scope and acceptance criteria are agreed for each order. Where a pre-shipment inspection is confirmed, AQL 2.5 applies; non-conformities are reviewed against the agreed standard and appropriate corrective action is coordinated with the production partner.

Check fibre information for the sales market
EU Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 says textile fibre-composition labels or markings must be provided in the official language or languages of the Member State where the products are offered to consumers, unless that State provides otherwise. Have a product-labelling specialist confirm the wording and any applicable exceptions for your product and sales channel.
