Apparel Landed Cost Calculator

Estimate a per-garment import scenario by adding supplier price, freight, insurance, duty, taxes, fees, and local delivery. Use the same currency for each entry.

How the estimate works

Separate modeled costs from confirmed customs inputs

The calculator combines the user-entered shipment costs and divides the modeled total by order volume. It does not decide which charges belong in a customs value or whether a rate applies.

Modeled shipment cost

Units × supplier unit price, plus international freight and insurance.

Estimated duty

Entered duty base × entered rate. Confirm the base, rate, classification, origin, and trade treatment for the destination.

Total and per-unit estimate

Add entered taxes, handling or brokerage, and last-mile delivery, then divide by units. Add other actual costs separately when applicable.

Quote scope

Check what the unit price includes

Review materials, labor, trims, packaging, export clearance, and other quoted services. FOB names a port and transport term; it does not guarantee a universal price package.

Route and carrier

Use shipment-specific cost inputs

Freight, insurance, handling, and dimensional-weight methods vary by carrier, route, and shipment. Use actual quotations when available.

Classification

Verify duty and tax separately

Product, origin, destination, importer, and current rules affect applicable charges. Confirm the correct treatment before relying on the estimate.

Apparel production estimate

Compare the estimate with a project-specific quote

Confirm production scope, quality checks, delivery terms, and schedule before placing an order.
