Private Label Clothing Manufacturing for Singapore Brands

Fenalt coordinates private-label development for Singapore brands through international production partners. A detailed product file connects technical requirements, brand identity, seasonal planning, and destination responsibilities from sample through shipment.

Design for tropical use

Balance comfort, finish, and product identity

Singapore’s warm, humid conditions may affect fabric selection, layering, care, and how a product is worn. Match the actual collection and customer rather than applying one weight or finish across every category.

Lightweight knits

Review breathability, opacity, stretch, drape, and wash behavior against the chosen silhouette.

Uniform and corporate

Set wearer groups, brand placement, repeat sizing, care, and replenishment information.

Retail collections

Coordinate range, colour, trims, labels, packaging, and intended launch dates.

Keep the brand file controlled

Every printed detail needs an owner

Labels and care

Check composition and care instructions against the selected material and current Singapore requirements.

Artwork and barcodes

Confirm version, colour, placement, SKU, barcode scan, and tag location before production release.

Packaging and assortment

Document fold, protective packaging, size and colour mix, carton marks, and delivery split.

Sample and shipment plan

Review the same file at every production gate

Development

Fenalt’s standard minimum order reference is 50 pieces per style; confirm the style definition and quantity breakdown in the quotation. Sampling is estimated at 10–15 days for sample production plus a separate 3–5 days for sample shipping. Bulk production is estimated at 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. These are planning references, not Singapore arrival dates or unconditional delivery promises; confirm timing and scope for the actual order.

Quality

AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when the written order inspection plan specifies its sampling method and acceptance limits. AQL is statistical sampling, not unit-by-unit inspection or a defect-free guarantee. Agree measurement tolerances, workmanship checks, test requirements, and inspection scope before production.

Shipment terms

DAP may be used for small-batch courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight, subject to confirmation for the actual project. Record the named place, Incoterms version, and each party’s responsibilities. These terms do not establish import tax, customs clearance, landed cost, or an arrival date.

Import coordination

For commercial clothing imports, the importer should confirm whether a Customs Import Permit is required and submit it through TradeNet when applicable. The importer may appoint a Declaring Agent; self-filing requires a UEN, an activated Customs Account, Declaring Agent registration, and TradeNet access. Confirm classification, any product-specific approvals, GST or duty treatment, and required documents for the actual goods, origin, and movement. This page gives no tariff or tax rate and no clearance-time promise.
