Small-Batch Clothing Manufacturing for Qatar Brands

A small run starts with a clear product brief and quantities by style, not a single combined total. Fenalt manages apparel manufacturing and sourcing through factories, suppliers, and production partners selected for each project. Scope and terms depend on the brief and written quotation; Fenalt does not claim to manufacture in Qatar or guarantee an import outcome or arrival date.

Quantity and specification

Set out quantities by style

List units for each style, colour, and size. Include fabric and known composition, construction, finishes, trims, print or embroidery, branding, labels, and packaging. Fenalt's standard minimum-order reference is 50 pieces per style. Ask the quotation to confirm how it applies to the selected fabric, colours, finishes, and size split; the reference does not establish that every combination is feasible at that quantity.

For an initial review, share a current tech pack or product description and intended use, reference images or garments, a measurement chart and tolerances, known fabric composition, and artwork. Identify open decisions and who can approve samples or changes. Ask the written quotation to state assumptions, sample stages, materials, inspection, packing, transport, exclusions, and unresolved points. This page sets no public price or universal fabric or colour minimum.

Sample approval and quality

Approve the sample before authorising bulk production

Coordinate sample review before bulk production. Keep the approved sample with the current specification revision, size chart, quantities, artwork, labels, packaging, and inspection criteria. Record proposed substitutions or revisions and their effect on scope, and obtain approval before they are used in production.

Fenalt's inspection reference is AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Level II, where specified in the agreed plan. Define the lot, sample, defect categories, acceptance criteria, and inspection stage in writing. AQL is a sampling method, not a zero-defect promise.

Qatar transaction review

Have the importer check the actual product and transaction

Qatar's General Authority of Customs describes commercial import procedures and documents, including a detailed invoice and certificate of origin. Its guidance also refers to transport documents and packing lists for multiple items, and to approvals for restricted goods or possible Arabic translation of foreign documents. Requirements depend on the goods and transaction. The importer or customs broker should check the current instructions for the actual garment, origin, and shipment route. This page assigns no tariff code or duty or tax amount, calculates no import cost, and makes no compliance or release determination.

Next step

Prepare a useful project brief

Before requesting a quotation, organise the product category, size range, quantities by style and colour, fabric and trim requirements, artwork, branding, labels, packaging, sample and production approvers, inspection criteria, and intended destination. Identify the importer and raise classification, origin, and document questions early so the responsible authority or qualified adviser can review the actual transaction.
