What is the standard minimum?
50 pieces per style as a standard reference. Confirm the style scope and quantity breakdown in the quotation; do not assume styles combine.
Private label production · Portugal
A private-label collection brings garment specifications, brand assets, approvals and market destination into one production plan. Fenalt coordinates the managed scope with project-selected partners and confirms capability, quantity, quality criteria and delivery responsibilities for each order.
Project definition
Private-label production coordinates a garment for a buyer's brand identity. Fenalt manages apparel manufacturing and sourcing through factories, suppliers, material sources and production partners selected for each project. The work can include technical review, material sourcing, OEM or ODM development, sample coordination, production planning, agreed quality activity and export logistics. Fenalt manages the manufacturing solution; it is not a factory directory and does not claim to own production facilities. Partner, origin, capability, schedule and commercial terms must be confirmed for the project.
For each style, describe garment type and intended use, target wearer, fit, size range, construction, fabric type, known fibre composition or weight, colours, artwork, labels, tags and trims. Mark fixed requirements separately from details open to proposal. Include the current technical pack, sketches or reference images and version date; a visual reference alone may not establish material, construction, quantity or timing.
Keep quantities clear by style, colour and size; do not assume separate styles combine toward one minimum. Record measurement points, tolerances, approved materials, sample version and who can authorize changes. Identify responsibility for label copy and artwork, quality criteria and import tasks. The quotation should state included work, buyer-supplied items, open decisions, approval points and exclusions.
Product development. Technical-pack review, specification questions, OEM or ODM development and sample coordination as scoped.
Materials and branding. Source to the project specification; approve artwork, label content, placement, materials and application method by style.
Production and export. Coordinate selected production partners, on-site quality control during production and export planning where included.
Working sequence
Share specifications, quantities, branding requirements, destination and target window.
Resolve material, construction, sourcing, development and project assumptions before approving the commercial scope.
Review fit, materials, construction and branding, then sign off the pre-production sample and written quality criteria.
After approvals, Fenalt coordinates the selected production partners, agreed inspection work and export dispatch.
The applicable facility, methods, schedule and delivery terms are confirmed for the order. A partner or route used on another project is not automatically available for a new style.
Quantity, timing and acceptance
Fenalt's standard minimum order quantity is 50 pieces per style. The quotation confirms the style definition and applicable quantity breakdown by colour and size. Sampling is estimated at 10–15 days for sample production plus a separate 3–5 days for shipping. Bulk production is estimated at 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. These are planning estimates, not a promised arrival date; transport, customs clearance and final delivery are separate planning steps.
Fenalt provides on-site quality control during production. Before bulk work, document the approved sample, measurement points, construction, material and colour criteria, inspection scope, records and corrective-action process. AQL 2.5 using ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when included in the written inspection plan. It is a sampling and acceptance method, not an inspection of every piece or a defect-free guarantee. Non-conformities are reviewed against the agreed standard and the appropriate corrective action is coordinated with the production partner.
Market checks for Portugal
EU textile rules cover fibre names and composition for products within Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011's scope and exceptions. European Commission guidance says composition information must be translated into official languages where products are made available to consumers; for Portugal, verify Portuguese label text for the product and sales channel. Business-to-business documentation can be treated differently. Review the official EU textile labelling guidance and obtain qualified advice for the actual product.
Confirm actual fibre composition, fibre names, translation and final artwork. Care instructions, chemical compliance, general product safety, origin and certifications are separate matters. Do not state a certification without evidence valid for the material and order.
Shipment planning
If production is outside the EU, identify the importer and the party lodging the customs declaration. Importer responsibilities depend on the transaction and operator roles. The EU requires an EORI number for economic operators established in its customs territory who carry out customs operations; confirm the relevant identifier and declarant for the shipment with the importer or customs representative.
State whether delivery is to mainland Portugal, the Azores or Madeira. The Commission's territorial-scope table includes Portugal and both autonomous regions within EU customs and VAT rules. VAT treatment depends on the transaction and place-of-supply rules. This page does not calculate VAT or charges; confirm the case with a qualified tax adviser. Garment tariff classification and measures depend on product and import details; consult TARIC with the importer or broker. No tariff codes, duty rates, preference eligibility or landed costs are stated.
Fenalt's commercial references are DAP for small courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight, subject to origin, destination, shipment size and the agreed Incoterm. The quotation should name the delivery place, route, export and import responsibilities, applicable costs and exclusions. DAP does not mean import taxes are included. No transit time or arrival date is promised.

10–15 days for sample production plus a separate 3–5 days for shipping, subject to the project plan.
The 15–20-day estimate begins after pre-production sample sign-off and ends at export dispatch. It is not a transit estimate or arrival date.
No. Inspection scope is agreed for the order; AQL 2.5 using ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when written into the inspection plan.
A current tech pack or design references, quantities by style and variant, branding requirements, destination and target window. Mark open choices and identify who approves samples, labels and quality criteria.
The generic editorial review is recorded as passed under standing authorization. European Portuguese native-language review, Fenalt fact-owner confirmation, specialist review of textile compliance and import matters, route review and separate publication approval remain pending.
