Managed private-label production

Private Label Clothing for Independent Brands

A clear brief connects your brand decisions to a garment a production partner can review. Fenalt coordinates private-label apparel production through a managed manufacturing and sourcing process, with partners selected for each project's requirements.

Project brief

Make the product decisions reviewable

Describe garment category and use, fit and size range, construction, material and known fibre content, colours, trims, branding placement, label artwork and packaging. Add quantities by style, colour and size, a destination and desired timing. Attach a current tech pack or reference files and identify the controlling version. Separate settled requirements from open questions and identify who can approve changes.

Reference images help explain direction but do not settle measurements, composition, construction or placement. Record those choices in the brief and check them against an approved sample. Fenalt manages work from technical review through production coordination to delivery. It is not a factory directory or open marketplace and does not claim to own production facilities.

Branding and samples

Keep brand assets and approvals in one record

List the labels, tags, artwork, prints, embroidery, trims and packaging that belong on the garment. Identify file versions, placement and buyer-supplied materials. Fenalt coordinates custom branding, labels and tags within confirmed project scope; supplier, material availability and feasibility need review for the specific order.

Agree who reviews each sample stage and what they will assess. Give specific feedback on fit, measurements, colour, material hand-feel, construction, branding placement and packaging. Record accepted changes in a dated specification revision and keep it with the approved sample as the production reference.

Quantity and timing

Confirm the project planning references

Fenalt's standard minimum order reference is 50 pieces per style. Confirm the style definition and quantity breakdown in the project quotation; do not assume different styles, colours or fabric requirements can be combined toward one minimum.

Sampling is estimated at 10–15 days for sample production plus a separate 3–5 days for shipping. Bulk production is estimated at 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. These planning references are not an arrival date or unconditional delivery promise. Confirm the schedule after materials, partners, approvals and shipment arrangements are reviewed.

Quality plan

Set inspection criteria before production

Define the approved sample, measurement points and tolerances, construction and material criteria, inspection scope, records and corrective-action process in writing. AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when included in the written inspection plan with its sampling method and acceptance limits. AQL is a sampling method; it does not mean every unit is inspected or guarantee defect-free production.

Fenalt provides on-site quality control during production. Deviations are reviewed against the agreed standard and appropriate corrective action is coordinated with the production partner. Needle or metal detection can be incorporated when required by the product, buyer specification or production facility. Confirm the activities included in the order.

Shipment handover

Confirm responsibilities for the actual order

Record production origin, named destination, shipment size, documents, transport responsibility and agreed Incoterm. DAP may be used for small-batch courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight, subject to confirmation for the project. The term and quotation do not establish duty, tax, customs clearance, landed cost or an arrival date.

The importer should confirm product classification, origin evidence, import declarations, taxes, labelling and other destination requirements with the relevant customs, tax and product specialists. These depend on the product and transaction. Fenalt coordinates the agreed production and shipment workflow but does not give a universal compliance or customs-clearance guarantee.

Gather the current tech pack, quantities by variant, materials and branding decisions, label and packaging files, desired sample stage, destination and timing. Mark which decisions are approved and which need a proposal. Review Fenalt's services.
