Protect the product claim
Can Fenalt guarantee GOTS or OCS certified cotton?
No certification is assumed. Verify the current supplier, product scope, and transaction-specific documents before making a certified-content claim. GOTS and OCS have distinct scopes.
What should an organic cotton brief include?
State the required certification scope, fabric composition, GSM, yarn, color, finish, garment measurements, and which documents must accompany the order.
What are the silhouette weight references?
Illustrative weight ranges are 140–160 GSM for tailored or slim tees, 180–220 GSM for regular tees, and 240–300 GSM for oversized or boxy tees. Treat these as starting points for a sample.
How should print claims be handled?
Confirm the available print method and order-specific evidence with the supplier. Do not describe ink or a finished garment as GOTS certified unless current documents support that specific claim.
What are the sample and bulk planning windows?
Planning references are 10–15 days for sample production plus 3–5 days for express courier, and 15–20 days for bulk after formal PP sign-off. Confirm the schedule for the actual order.
How is quality assessed?
Agree the POM tolerances, wash-test method and acceptance criteria, inspection scope, and defect definitions. ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Level II with AQL 2.5 major defects is a planning reference, not a substitute for those details.
