Fiber content
Separate declared composition from claims about origin or processing.
Material evidence · Norway
A sustainability claim is useful only when it describes the actual product and is supported by records for the material used. Fenalt coordinates development and production through international partners, helping Norwegian brands align fiber choices, evidence, sample approval, quality checks, and import planning.
Build transparency
Share the intended fiber composition, knit or woven construction, color, finish, supplier documents, and any customer-facing claim. Keep the specification and its supporting records together so substitutions can be reviewed before approval.
Separate declared composition from claims about origin or processing.
Check validity, material, facility, and transaction coverage.
Require review when an approved input changes.
Material and garment decisions
Compare jersey, rib, fleece, and terry by hand, recovery, pilling, shrinkage, and the garment’s intended wear.
Review shell, lining, insulation, coatings, trims, seam construction, and relevant performance tests together.
Record fiber blend, weave, wash, hardware, color approval, and any component-level material claims.
A recycled or organic input does not by itself establish durability, lower impact, or a product-wide claim. Confirm what each record covers and avoid wording broader than its evidence.
Plan for Norway
Work backward from the selling window and leave room for material confirmation, samples, revisions, production, inspection, export, and border processing.
Document the facilities and business relationships relevant to the order. Review any disclosure or due-diligence duties with current Norwegian official guidance.
Confirm fiber declarations, care information, restricted-substance expectations, and destination-market duties for the finished product.
Agree who books freight, provides documents, arranges clearance, and pays destination charges under the selected delivery term.
