Brand brief

Make the garment and brand decisions clear

Describe the garment's use, fit, size range, construction, material and known fibre composition, colours, trims, labels, brand applications and packaging. Add quantities by style, colour and size, the Netherlands destination, a target window and the current tech-pack version. Mark confirmed details separately from open questions and identify who can approve changes.

Keep label, tag, print, embroidery and packaging artwork tied to its current file version. Images can explain the concept, but the written specification and approved sample should settle measurements, material, construction and placement. Fenalt manages work from technical review through production coordination to delivery through partners selected for each project's requirements; it is not a directory or open marketplace and does not claim to own production facilities.

Sample and quality

Connect written approvals to production

Agree which sample stage is under review, who approves it, and how feedback on fit, measurements, colour, material hand-feel, construction, branding and packaging will be recorded. Put accepted changes into a dated specification revision and retain it with the approved sample.

Fenalt's standard minimum order reference is 50 pieces per style; confirm the definition and quantity split in the project quotation. Sampling is estimated at 10–15 days for production plus a separate 3–5 days for shipping. Bulk production is estimated at 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. Confirm the actual schedule after materials, partner, approvals and freight are reviewed.

Write down the approved sample, measurement points and tolerances, construction and material criteria, inspection scope, records and corrective-action process. AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only if included in the written plan with a sampling method and acceptance limits; sampling does not mean every unit is inspected or guarantee defect-free production.

Dutch-facing product information

Review label content for the actual garment

Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 covers fibre names and composition information for textile products within its scope. Coverage, exceptions and language obligations depend on the product and circumstances. Ask a qualified product-compliance reviewer to confirm Dutch wording before approving labels for consumer-facing goods. The regulation's B2B commercial-document option has conditions and is not a blanket label exemption.

REACH restrictions apply to particular substances and product conditions. Review the current restriction and supporting evidence for the material, finish, trim and garment. A general supplier statement does not prove a specific finished item meets every legal or buyer requirement. Fenalt does not approve label artwork or guarantee compliance.

Shipment file

Confirm the importer and product details

Before dispatch, establish who is importer, declarant or representative, who prepares the declaration and whose EORI details are required. Dutch Customs explains EORI registration for customs declarations and authorisations; confirm requirements for the parties and transaction with the importer or customs representative.

Classification depends on garment details and origin. Check current European Commission TARIC treatment for the correctly classified product. This page assigns no tariff code or rate and makes no origin or permit determination.

Confirm import VAT and any reporting or deferred-payment treatment with the importer and a Dutch tax adviser using current guidance from the Dutch Tax Administration. This page gives no rate, recovery outcome or landed-cost quote. State production origin, destination, documents, transport responsibility and agreed Incoterm in the order. DAP may be used for small courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight, subject to confirmation; no route or arrival time is promised.
