Coordinate private-label clothing manufacturing for Mexico

Fenalt coordinates apparel manufacturing and sourcing through factories, suppliers, and production partners selected for the project brief. This page covers moving an already-defined product brief through scope confirmation, samples, production planning, quality coordination, and export dispatch. The brand remains responsible for defining its product and identity. Origin, route, partner, and commercial terms are confirmed for each project; Fenalt does not claim factory ownership or local manufacturing in Mexico.

Prepare the production brief

For each style, share the current technical specification or tech pack, drawings or reference garment, revision, and quantities by style, colour, and size. Include intended use, wearer, fit, construction, size range, known fibre composition or weight, colours, trims, and finishes. Mark decisions as approved, provisional, or open. An inspiration image or target retail price alone does not settle material, construction, cost, or schedule.

Separate brand-supplied assets from items that need to be proposed or quoted, such as logos, labels, hangtags, packaging, fasteners, and other trims. Identify decision owners and record inclusions, assumptions, exclusions, and unresolved questions in the written scope. The brand defines the collection and its identity; manufacturing coordination turns the approved brief into a scoped project.

Fenalt’s standard minimum-order reference is 50 pieces per style. The quotation confirms how that reference applies to the requested material, colour, construction, trims, and size breakdown; it is not a guaranteed acceptance for every specification.

Confirm the scope and sample

Resolve technical questions, sourcing needs, responsibilities, and open decisions before sample work. Sample production is estimated at 10–15 production days, with a separate 3–5 day shipping reference. The quotation and project plan confirm the applicable sample scope and schedule; these references do not promise arrival by a particular date.

Compare each sample with the current specification: fit, measurements, material, construction, colour, branding, and packaging. Record feedback against the version reviewed. Before bulk production, document the approved pre-production sample, final scope, quality plan, and shipment responsibilities. Changes to material, measurements, trims, print, finish, or quantity should be reviewed for their effect on cost and timing before they are applied.

Coordinate production and quality

Bulk production is estimated at 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. This is a planning reference, not a guaranteed delivery date. The project schedule should account for ready materials and specifications, required approvals, production capacity, inspection, and export documentation; the written order schedule governs the specific project.

Before bulk work, document the approved sample, measurement points, materials, construction, colour, inspection scope, records, and response to deviations. AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when included in the written order plan. It is a sampling method, not inspection of every garment or a zero-defect guarantee. Fenalt reviews non-conformities against the agreed criteria and coordinates appropriate corrective action with the production partner.

Confirm dispatch responsibilities

Fenalt’s approved commercial references are DAP for small-batch courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight. The actual term depends on production origin, destination, shipment size, and the agreed Incoterm. Confirm the named place or port, transport, import-clearance responsibilities, charges, and exclusions in the quotation. Production timing ends at export dispatch in the bulk reference; international transport, import clearance, and final delivery are separate, and no transit time or delivery date is guaranteed.

Mexican garment-label requirements depend on the product and applicable scope. For product definition, label artwork, and product-specific review, see the Mexico private-label product and label guidance. The importer or qualified product adviser should confirm requirements for the actual garment before label approval; this manufacturing coordination page does not determine compliance.

To scope a project, share the current specification, quantities by variant, destination, available brand assets, and open decisions through Fenalt’s manufacturing intake.

Frequently asked questions

Does Fenalt manufacture garments in Mexico?

No local production is claimed. Fenalt coordinates managed manufacturing and sourcing; the production partner, origin, and process are confirmed for each project.

Are the minimum quantity and timing guaranteed?

No. The 50-piece-per-style minimum, sample and shipping references, and bulk production estimate are planning references. Confirm the applicable scope, schedule, and commercial terms in the project quotation and written order.

Does a Fenalt review certify that a label meets Mexican requirements?

No. The importer or a qualified product adviser should confirm scope, exceptions, required information, and placement for the specific garment.
