Small-Batch Clothing Manufacturing for Kuwait Brands

A smaller clothing run needs a clear product brief, quantities by style, and written approval of the sample and specifications. Fenalt coordinates apparel manufacturing and sourcing through factories, suppliers, and production partners selected for each project, from technical review through production coordination and delivery. Define project details in the brief and written quote.

Define the run

Set the quantity and specification for each style

List units for each style, colour, and size rather than relying on one combined total. Include the fabric and known composition, construction, finishes, trims, print or embroidery, branding, labels, and packaging. Fenalt's standard minimum-order reference is 50 pieces per style. Ask the written quote to confirm how this applies to the selected fabric, colours, finishes, and size split; the reference does not promise that every combination is feasible at that quantity.

Share a current tech pack or product description, reference images or garments, measurement chart and tolerances, known fabric composition, artwork, and intended use. Separate confirmed details from open decisions and identify who can approve changes. Ask the quote to state assumptions, sample stages, materials, inspection, packing, transport, exclusions, and unresolved points. This page sets no public price or universal fabric or colour minimum.

Samples and bulk production

Keep sample and bulk-production estimates separate

Fenalt's sampling reference is 10–15 days for production, with a separate 3–5 day shipping reference. Confirm the sample stage, dispatch point, and transport method in the quote. The shipping reference is not a guaranteed arrival date in Kuwait and excludes customs processing and local delivery.

The bulk-production reference is 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. Transport, customs processing, and final delivery are separate stages. Confirm the production schedule, material readiness, approvals, and inspection plan in writing; this is not an end-to-end arrival commitment for Kuwait.

Sample approval

Approve the sample and quality plan in writing

Before bulk production, retain the approved sample and current tech-pack revision with the size chart, quantities by style and colour, label and packaging artwork, and inspection criteria. Record proposed substitutions or revisions and their effect on scope before approval. Fenalt's inspection reference is AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Level II, where specified in the agreed plan. Define the lot, sample, defect categories, acceptance criteria, and inspection stage. AQL is a sampling method, not a zero-defect promise. Non-conformities are reviewed against the agreed quality standard, and the appropriate corrective action is coordinated with the production partner.

Importer checks

Review import documents with the Kuwait importer

Kuwait's General Administration of Customs publishes its commercial-import procedure 0101 in Arabic. It says the declaration is entered by the importer, its representative, or an authorized customs broker, and lists documents including the original invoice, original certificate of origin, delivery order, and bill of lading. It also lists a cargo manifest for land imports and a packing list for multiple items.

The applicable documents depend on the product and shipment route. Ask the importer or broker to confirm the current requirements for the actual garment and transport method before approving paperwork. Kuwait Customs provides an official Harmonized goods and tariff search for reviewing goods descriptions and tariff items. Use it with the importer or a qualified broker to review the finished product; do not infer a code, duty rate, or tax amount from a broad clothing label or a result for a different good. This page assigns no tariff classification, duty, tax, exemption, or product-compliance requirement and is not legal advice or a complete import checklist.

Commercial scope

Confirm the commercial scope before approval

Fenalt's general references are DAP for small-batch courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight. The route and term depend on production origin, destination, shipment size, and the agreed Incoterm; these are general references, not a Kuwait-specific quote. Ask the written quote to name the place or port and state transport and import responsibilities and exclusions. Do not assume duties, taxes, clearance, or local delivery are included unless the written quote says so and the relevant parties confirm it.

Before requesting a quote, prepare the product category, size range, quantities by style and colour, fabric and trim requirements, branding, label and packaging artwork, approval contacts, inspection expectations, and destination. Submit a project brief so open details can be reviewed within the project scope.
