Small-Batch Clothing Manufacturing for Italian Brands
For an Italy-bound run, quantities, product information and import responsibilities should be resolved against the actual garment and order. Fenalt reviews the brief and coordinates production with project-selected partners.

Set quantities by style and variant
Fenalt's current minimum order reference is 50 pieces per style. The quotation must confirm whether it fits the fabric, colour, construction and size range; material or dyeing minimums may differ, and separate styles are not automatically combined. Provide units by style, colour and size, then mark fixed choices and open assumptions.
Attach a current tech pack or product description with construction, measurements, known fibre content, fabric weight if available, trims, artwork, labels and packaging. Include the intended sales market, Italian delivery location, planning window and any inspection criteria. Identify who may approve samples and changes.
Italy product handoff
Check labels and importer responsibilities
For textile products within Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011, fibre names and composition descriptions are governed by product-specific rules. When textile products within scope are made available to consumers in Italy, required labels and markings must be in Italian, subject to any applicable exception. Have a qualified specialist review composition, Italian terminology, label placement and the respective brand and importer responsibilities before artwork is approved. Some business-to-business situations may be treated differently. This page does not determine product compliance.
The General Product Safety Regulation and REACH restrictions may also be relevant depending on the product, material and operator role. Confirm applicable obligations and supporting documents for the specific goods; neither a supplier statement nor a general reference establishes blanket compliance of the finished product.
The importer should verify EORI status and customs steps with the appropriate authority or broker. TARIC can help check current EU tariff measures using the correct classification and origin; national VAT is outside TARIC. No duty rate, VAT amount, landed-cost total or customs outcome is promised here.
Production sequence
Keep approvals tied to the specification
Technical review
Fenalt coordinates questions about construction, materials, quantities and variants with partners selected for the project.
Sample and feedback
Sample production is estimated at 10–15 days, with separate sample shipping estimated at 3–5 days. The quote should define the stage, timing trigger and route; this is not a guaranteed arrival or customs-release date.
Written approval
Compare the approved sample with the final tech pack, measurements, materials, artwork, label files and acceptance criteria. Record changes before they are applied.
Production and dispatch planning
Bulk production is estimated at 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. It is not a door-to-door transit estimate for Italy; approvals, materials, capacity and documents can affect the order plan.
Quality and commercial handoff
Confirm checks and shipment terms in writing
Agree product-specific measurement points, tolerances, material and colour references, inspection stages and acceptance criteria. Fenalt's inspection reference is AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, Level II, when confirmed in the written quality plan. This is sampling inspection, not inspection of every garment or a defect-free guarantee.
For small-batch courier shipments, the agreed term may be DAP; for bulk sea freight, it may be FOB Chattogram. Confirm the named place, production origin, mode and import responsibilities in the quote. Terms depend on the project; no factory ownership or Italian production location is implied.
