Private Label Clothing for Italian Brands
Connect product decisions to a usable specification, sample approvals and an import plan for the actual order. Fenalt coordinates private-label apparel through project-selected production partners.

Make the project reviewable
Independent designers can outline a capsule; DTC and streetwear teams can specify fit, fabric weight, washes, prints, embroidery and repeat-order needs; retailers and procurement teams can describe volumes, acceptance criteria, documents and a target delivery window. These details help assess a request but do not guarantee capacity or a schedule.
For each style, describe category and use, fit, size range, points of measure, construction, known fibre composition, available fabric weight, colours, trims, graphics, labels, tags and packaging. Split quantities by style, colour and size; distinguish confirmed requirements from assumptions and options to approve. Attach the current tech pack and identify its controlling version.
Fenalt coordinates managed manufacturing and sourcing. It is not a factory directory and does not claim to own factories or manufacture in Italy. Production partners, origin, materials, capacity and terms are confirmed for each project.
Product detail
Describe construction, not only the garment name
Requests may include cut-and-sew jersey and knitwear, sweatshirts and loungewear; shirts, overshirts and other woven garments; trousers and denim; or jackets and technical outerwear. Feasibility depends on the design, materials, equipment and project partner.
For jersey and sweatshirts, specify knit structure, fibre composition, fabric weight, rib, hand-feel, dyeing and print or embroidery; examples to describe include jersey, French terry, fleece, garment or pigment dye, screen or puff print, and embroidery. For woven garments, describe weave, measurements, seams, reinforcement, finishing, buttons and other trims; examples include poplin, oxford, twill, linen blends, collar stays and seam finishes. For outerwear, state layers, lining, insulation, zips and required performance, such as weather resistance or seam taping. For denim and trousers, clarify weight, colour, reinforcement and treatments, including the desired wash. These are specification examples, not guaranteed options; availability is checked against the individual brief.

Materials and sample
Agree materials, fit, components and decoration with the project partner. Fenalt planning references allow 10–15 days for sample production and an estimated 3–5 days separately for shipping; confirm the project schedule.
Pre-production approval
Before bulk production, approve in writing the sample, specification version, measurements, materials, colour and branding.
Production and quality checks
The bulk planning reference is 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch. It excludes transit, customs clearance and final delivery. Review non-conformities against the written standard and agree corrective action with the partner.
Shipment planning
Confirm origin, named place, transport mode, Incoterm, documents and responsibilities in the order agreement.
Quantities and quality criteria
Fenalt’s standard minimum-order reference is 50 pieces per style, subject to proposal confirmation. Fabric, construction, dyeing, colour and trims can affect supplier minimums. Do not assume styles can be combined; show quantities by style, colour and size.
The written quality plan should identify the approved sample, defects, critical measurements, inspection stage, records and corrective action. Fenalt provides on-site quality control during production; confirm the activities included for the order. AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when included in the agreed plan. It is a statistical acceptance method, not inspection of every garment or a guarantee of no defects.
Italy product and import checks
Check the actual label and shipment
Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 covers fibre names and composition information for textile products within its scope. Before labels are produced, the brand and importer should verify fibres, components, terminology, language and exceptions that apply to the product and sales channel. Consumer-facing textile information in Italy may require Italian; a qualified reviewer should confirm the case and artwork. See the EU textile labelling regulation. Care information, origin, packaging and environmental claims need separate checks. This page does not certify compliance.
For imports from outside the EU, classification, documented origin, value and current measures contribute to customs treatment. The importer or representative should check the exact product and date in TARIC and with the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency. EORI requirements depend on the operator’s customs role; confirm the applicable position with the European Commission EORI guidance or a customs representative. No duty rate, VAT amount, origin preference or landed cost is stated.
Fenalt’s planning references are DAP for small-batch courier shipments when confirmed and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight when specified in the documents. DAP does not mean import duties and taxes are included. Confirm the named place, transport, customs arrangements and responsibilities. No transit time or arrival date is promised. For a target seasonal launch, set the desired date early and build the project schedule around material sourcing, sample revisions, bulk production and shipment planning. No fixed retail-calendar deadline or transit duration is assumed.
Common questions
Before you submit a brief
Does Fenalt manufacture clothing in Italy?
Fenalt coordinates production through partners selected for each project. It does not claim to own factories or manufacture in Italy; partner and origin are confirmed for the order.
What is the standard minimum order?
The standard reference is 50 pieces per style. The proposal confirms the definition and quantities by colour and size; separate styles are not presumed combinable.
When does the 15–20 day bulk reference begin?
It begins after pre-production sample approval and ends at export dispatch. Transit, customs and final delivery are outside that estimate.
Can Fenalt confirm import duty and VAT before reviewing a product?
No. Classification, origin, value and current measures require a product- and shipment-specific check by the importer or representative using official sources and qualified advice.
