“Sustainable” is not a single material or a blanket guarantee. A fiber choice, certification or environmental statement needs evidence appropriate to its wording and scope. Availability, current certificate status and applicable order-level transaction documents are confirmed with suppliers; no product claim should be inferred from a material name alone.
The product is reviewed through the same technical process as any other order: define the bill of materials, check sample quality, agree the inspection plan and confirm production timing after materials and approvals are ready.

Claims and chemical requirements
EU textile-fiber labeling, chemical restrictions and consumer-protection rules can apply depending on the product and claim. Assess each statement and component against current requirements, and keep supplier records that support the exact claim. Certification alone does not prove every attribute of a finished garment.
Irish retail and replenishment
Plan seasonal launches around confirmed production and carrier dates, leaving room for sampling, material approval and import steps. A reorder can reuse a prior specification as a reference, but material stock, documentation and capacity must be reconfirmed.

Sampling and lead-time control
Sampling schedules are confirmed after materials are ready and approvals are received; courier estimates are confirmed at booking. Production timing is confirmed after the pre-production sample is approved and materials are ready. Plan seasonal drops with room for technical changes, supplier evidence, sample review and export transit.
Import route to Ireland
DAP courier can fit samples or smaller releases when the named destination and importer arrangements are agreed. For FOB sea freight, Fenalt hands cargo over at the named origin port while the buyer arranges carriage and destination clearance. Duty depends on classification, origin and measures in force; import VAT follows Irish rules and the importer’s circumstances. Verify using the current EU TARIC database and Irish Revenue import VAT guidance.
EU textile-fiber rules inform composition labeling, but claims such as “organic,” “recycled” or “lower impact” require separate substantiation. Check the market-specific labeling language and any other product or packaging duties before approving artwork. Care symbols may depend on the brand, contract and market practice; do not treat them as certification evidence.
