Apparel Manufacturing for Spanish Brands

Turn each garment brief into a production baseline your team can review and approve. Fenalt coordinates technical review, samples, production and delivery planning with the partners each project needs.

Preparation

A useful brief separates requirements from open decisions

Gather the current technical pack and details for construction, measurements, sizes, fabric composition and weight, colour, finishes, trims, branding, labels and packaging. Break quantities down by style, colour and size. Mark provisional decisions—such as an unapproved measurement, composition or print placement—as open items, not final instructions.

Keep visual references beside the specifications they explain. Distinguish required materials from alternatives that could be evaluated and identify who can approve them. Include destination, target date and technical questions. Availability and feasibility are reviewed for the project; an inspiration image is not a specification.

From specification to dispatch

Five decisions structure production coordination

  1. Review the technical brief

Fenalt reviews the request and technical pack, flagging what needs clarification before development.

  2. Coordinate materials and a sample

Fenalt coordinates sourcing and prototype or sample development with project partners. The buyer consolidates feedback on fit, construction, colour, measurements and branding.

  3. Approve the pre-production baseline

Record the approved sample and matching version of measurements, materials, trims, artwork, size breakdown, packaging and inspection instructions.

  4. Coordinate production and checks

Fenalt coordinates production and can arrange on-site quality control. Define sampling, defects, acceptance criteria and timing in the order plan. Deviations are reviewed against the agreed standard and an appropriate corrective action is coordinated.

  5. Confirm the agreed dispatch

Confirm route, destination and transport responsibilities under the order terms. The production timeline is not an arrival date for Spain.

Fenalt planning references

Figures to confirm in the proposal

These are planning references, not a final offer or guarantee for every style. Confirm scope, assumptions, dates and responsibilities before production.

Product information

Confirm composition before finalising materials and labels

For products within its scope, Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 sets textile fibre names and related rules for indicating fibre composition. Keep confirmed composition, the technical pack and draft label aligned before printing. Check product and market scope with a specialist; this page does not certify compliance.

If material, construction or artwork changes after sample approval, document the revision and confirm its effect on sourcing, timing, inspection and cost before production.

Planning questions

Clarify the scope before authorising the order

When does the bulk production reference begin?

The 15–20 day reference begins after pre-production sample sign-off and ends at export dispatch. Confirm materials and specifications in the order plan.

Does AQL 2.5 mean every unit is checked?

No. It is a sampling reference, not unit-by-unit inspection or a zero-defect guarantee. Confirm the plan and criteria for the order.

Does Fenalt directly operate the factories?

Fenalt manages the solution and coordinates factories, suppliers, material sources and production partners as each project requires. It is not a factory directory or open marketplace.
