Small-Batch Clothing Manufacturing for Brands in Czechia

Plan a small run with quantities by style, an approved sample, written quality criteria and a separately confirmed production and delivery plan.

Share a project brief

Fenalt coordinates custom apparel manufacturing and sourcing with factories, suppliers and production partners selected for each project. Production location, materials and commercial terms are confirmed for the specific order; Fenalt does not claim to own production facilities or manufacture in Czechia.

Define quantities and requirements by style

List units for each style separately, then provide the planned colour and size breakdown. Describe construction, material and known fibre content, performance requirements and weight, colours, finishes, components, print or embroidery, branding, labels and packaging. Fenalt's standard reference minimum is 50 pieces per style. This is a planning reference, not confirmation that every material, colour, size split or finish is feasible at that quantity; the written quote must confirm the minimum, scope and price for the actual specification.

Share the current tech pack or product description, measurement chart and tolerances, reference images or garment, artwork files and intended use. Separate approved decisions from proposals and open questions and name the people who can approve changes. Ask the quote to state assumptions, sample stages, materials, inspection, packaging, transport, exclusions and unresolved points. This page sets no public prices or universal fabric or colour minimums.

Approve the sample and tie it to the production revision

Use the sample to assess fit and measurements, material, colour, seams, finishing, print or embroidery, component function and packaging. Record comments by component or measurement point and identify the sample version and date. Fenalt's planning reference is 10–15 days for sample production, plus a separate 3–5 days for sample shipping. These are not a guaranteed arrival time in Czechia.

Bulk production has a reference of 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch; international freight, customs processing and local delivery are separate stages. Confirm actual milestones in writing against the specification, material readiness, approvals and route. Before the run begins, connect the approved sample to the current tech-pack revision, quantity and size breakdown, label and packaging artwork, and inspection plan.

Fenalt's inspection reference is AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, General Inspection Level II, where it applies to the written plan. Define the lot and stage, sampling, responsibilities and acceptance criteria. AQL is a sampling method, not a promise to inspect every piece or guarantee defect-free production.

Check textile information for sale in Czechia

European Commission guidance describes EU fibre-composition rules for textile products within scope, including clothing. For consumer-facing sales, verify the actual composition, permitted fibre names and required language for the specific product and sales channel. The guide also describes conditions for some business-to-business supply, where commercial documents may supplement or replace labels. Have a specialist check the scope and any exceptions, then approve Czech text and final artwork before printing.

Fibre composition labelling is separate from care information, product safety, origin claims and voluntary certifications. This page is for planning; it does not establish compliance for a particular product.

Identify import and customs responsibilities

If goods enter the market from outside the EU customs territory, identify the responsible importer and the person coordinating the customs declaration. EORI is an identifier used for customs operations in the EU; Czech Customs explains the national registration authority and process. Confirm with the importer or customs representative which party and transaction require an EORI; do not assume every buyer must apply for a new number.

Tariff classification depends on the actual goods and their characteristics, including construction and composition; origin and shipment details also matter when checking measures. The responsible importer or representative should check the current Combined Nomenclature and TARIC for the actual case. No code, duty rate, preferential-origin result, VAT amount or landed-cost estimate is stated here.

Fenalt's DAP reference for small courier shipments and FOB Chattogram reference for bulk sea freight are project-specific and depend on production origin, destination, shipment size and the agreed Incoterm. The quote should name the place or port and allocate responsibilities. DAP does not automatically include all import charges. A quote should separate confirmed details from assumptions and identify decisions required before sampling or production.
