Apparel Manufacturing for Czech Brands: From Brief to Export Dispatch
A practical guide to preparing a specification, coordinating a sample and production, and confirming a delivery plan for a Czech brand.
Describe a production projectPrepare a decision-ready production brief
For each style, gather the technical pack or current specification, a reference sample if available, material and finish requirements, approved measurements, size range, branding and trim details, quantity by style and size, packaging decisions and destination. Mark estimates and open decisions clearly so they are not mistaken for approved production instructions. This is a planning checklist; material availability and production feasibility are confirmed for the individual project.
A managed path from specification to dispatch
Define the style and review its technical requirements. Submit the project through Fenalt’s intake. The team reviews the specification and identifies decisions to resolve before development.
Coordinate materials and a sample. Fenalt coordinates material sourcing and prototype or sample development with relevant production partners. The buyer reviews fit, construction, colour, branding and measurements, then records any changes.
Approve the pre-production baseline. Confirm the production sample, points of measure, materials, trims, artwork, size breakdown, packaging and any project-specific inspection instructions before bulk work begins.
Coordinate production and quality checks. Fenalt coordinates production with project partners and can arrange on-site quality control. The order plan should record inspection references and tolerances; non-conformities are reviewed against the agreed quality standard and appropriate corrective action is coordinated.
Prepare the agreed dispatch. Shipment routing and delivery terms depend on production origin, destination, shipment size and the Incoterm agreed for the order.
Fenalt planning references
| Item | Current reference | Confirm for the order |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum order quantity | 50 pieces per style | Style, colour and size breakdown |
| Sample development | 10–15 days for production, plus 3–5 days for sample shipping | Sample scope, material availability and destination |
| Bulk production | 15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch | Start after approvals and the confirmed production plan |
| Inspection | AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Level II | Agreed sampling plan, defect definitions and inspection timing |
| Delivery terms | DAP for small-batch courier shipments; FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight | Route, origin, destination, shipment size and agreed Incoterm |
These are Fenalt planning references, not a final quotation or a guarantee for every style. Confirm scope, assumptions, dates, shipping route and responsibilities in the project plan before production is authorised.
Keep approvals explicit
The buyer supplies and approves the product brief, measurements, materials, artwork, labels, size ratios and pre-production sample. Fenalt coordinates technical review, sourcing, production partners, quality checks and the agreed delivery plan. If a specification changes after approval, record the revision and confirm its effect on materials, timing, inspection and cost before it is used in production.
Checks for the Czech and EU market
Before label artwork is produced, align the fibre composition in the bill of materials with the finished product and its sales channel. EU Regulation 1007/2011 sets rules for textile fibre names and the labelling and marking of fibre composition. Confirm how the rules, language requirements and any exceptions apply to the specific product and sales route; this page is not a legal assessment. For products made available to consumers in Czechia, schedule a review of applicable fibre-composition information in Czech; confirm scope and any exceptions for the product and sales channel. The [Czech Trade Inspection Authority’s seller guidance](https://coi.gov.cz/pro-podnikatele/informace-pro-prodejce-zbozi-a-sluzeb/informacni-povinnosti-prodejce-2/) points to the directly applicable EU textile-labelling regulation and Czech consumer-information requirements. Assign each check according to the parties’ roles in the specific transaction.
For imports from outside the EU, identify the responsible importer and customs declarant, then confirm product classification, origin and customs documents. The EU TARIC database integrates customs tariff and trade measures. A duty rate or customs outcome cannot be established without details of the goods and origin. This page does not calculate duties, VAT, preferential origin or landed cost.
Common questions
What is Fenalt’s standard MOQ?
The current standard is 50 pieces per style. The final style and quantity breakdown still needs to be confirmed for the project.
When does the bulk production timing begin?
The 15–20 day reference starts after pre-production sample sign-off and runs through export dispatch. Material availability, project scope and agreed specifications need confirmation in the order plan.
Does Fenalt operate the factories directly?
Fenalt manages the manufacturing solution and works with factories, suppliers, material sources and production partners as the project requires. It is not a factory directory or marketplace.
Where should I send a manufacturing brief?
Use the Fenalt project intake to submit a custom manufacturing request. For a broader view of services, see Fenalt services.
