Specification

From brand brief to workable order

For each style, share a tech pack or reference, design files, materials, quantities by style/colour/size, branding, destination and target date. Identify open decisions. Fenalt reviews manufacturability and coordinates production with project-suited partners; it is not a factory directory or marketplace. Price, capacity and arrival require project confirmation.

Specify fit, construction, fabric, weight, colour, sizes and tolerances. Knitwear and loungewear, woven casualwear, outerwear and denim are specification directions, not guaranteed capabilities. Confirm materials and techniques for each order. Describe artwork, placement, labels, hangtags, print, embroidery and finishes, and who approves them. A supplier statement alone does not prove fibre content, origin, certification or performance. Packaging capability is unconfirmed and must be confirmed in writing for a project before inclusion.

Order planning

Set approval points

Approved MOQ reference: 50 pieces per style. Confirm how it applies to construction, fabric, colour and size distribution; do not assume styles or colours can be combined.

  1. Inquiry and technical review

Share specifications, materials, quantities and destination; review feasibility and open questions.

  2. Sample and evaluation

Reference: 10–15 production days plus a separate 3–5 day shipping reference. Confirm start, route and counting method. Review fit, construction, material, colour and branding in writing.

  3. Pre-production sample

Freeze the approved version and confirm how changes affect price, schedule, testing and inspection.

  4. Bulk and export dispatch

Reference: 15–20 production days from pre-production sample approval to export dispatch. Transport, customs clearance and final delivery are excluded.

Quality plan

Agree acceptance in writing

Record measurement points and units, tolerances, material and colour references, construction, approved sample, inspection stage and criteria. AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when stated in the written order inspection plan. It is sampling inspection, not inspection of every garment or a defect-free guarantee.

Agree suitable checks for weight, colour, shrinkage, seams, stitch density, dimensions and trims. Test methods and limits, material inspections, laboratory tests, metal detection, certificates and corrective actions apply only when confirmed for the order.

Belgian market

Check product information and language

Regulation (EU) 1007/2011 addresses fibre names and composition for products within its scope. Applicability and the responsible operator depend on the product and commercial chain; an importer may have obligations where the manufacturer is outside the EU. Belgian official guidance describes consumer-label language requirements according to the linguistic region where goods are offered. Ask the importer or qualified adviser to confirm fibre information, responsible party and required languages for the garment, channel and intended sales areas. FPS Economy · Regulation.

Fibre rules do not automatically determine all origin statements or other obligations. REACH restrictions depend on substance, article and use; a supplier statement is not a general compliance guarantee. See ECHA.

Import and delivery

Confirm terms and responsibilities

Qualified Fenalt references: DAP for small courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight, subject to production origin, destination, shipment size and the agreed Incoterm. Confirm the named place or port and transport, declaration, cost and unloading responsibilities.

This preview establishes no customs code, duty, preferential origin, VAT amount or landed cost. The importer or customs representative checks current measures in TARIC and confirms relevant EORI and declaration details using EU EORI guidance. Production days are not a door-to-door timeline.
