Apparel Manufacturing for Australian Brands
Turn a product brief or technical pack into a defined development and production plan, with project-specific sourcing, sample review and buyer requirements considered from the start. Fenalt is the accountable manufacturing solutions manager and works with project-selected partners, not a factory directory. This page does not claim Australian production facilities; confirm production origin for each project.
Submit a manufacturing briefDefine the range before requesting feasibility
For each style, identify intended use, knit or woven construction, fit, size range, fibre and fabric details, colour, trims, branding and finish. A current tech pack is useful; reference images help communicate direction but do not replace measurements, construction notes or an approval standard. Separate confirmed requirements from open decisions and state what evidence or testing a performance claim needs.
List quantities by style, colour and size, keeping the initial order separate from forecasts and possible repeats. Fenalt’s standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style. Confirm product and partner feasibility and pricing in the written quote; fabric or colour suppliers may set separate minimums. Styles cannot be assumed to combine toward a minimum.
From brief to production plan
01
Technical review
Share the current specification, version, materials, construction, size range, colourways and target quantity. Flag open decisions.
02
Sourcing and feasibility
Fenalt reviews the brief with suitable project partners. Material availability, capabilities, MOQ and price require order-specific confirmation.
03
Sample and approval
Review the sample against the agreed specification, recording fit, measurements, construction, materials, colour, labels and agreed test evidence.
04
Production coordination
Confirm the approved version, inspection scope, quantities, production origin, delivery point, Incoterm and schedule in writing.
Set quality expectations by product
Agree measurable acceptance criteria and inspection scope before production. Fenalt’s approved quality reference is AQL 2.5 (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 Level II), subject to the order’s agreed plan. Dimensional tolerances follow standard industry tolerances across points of measure; agree the applicable measurements and tolerances for the product. Non-conformities are reviewed against the agreed standard and corrective action is coordinated with the production partner.
Needle or metal detection can be included where required by the product, buyer specification or production facility. Specify any material testing or inspection method, tested material and acceptance criteria in writing.
Confirm commercial terms in writing
Fenalt’s general delivery references are DAP for small-batch courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight. Routing and terms depend on production origin, destination, shipment size and agreed Incoterm. Confirm the delivery point, import-clearance responsibilities, applicable charges, production origin, route, price and schedule in the quote. No Australian duty rate or landed cost is assumed here.
