Who this supports
Fenalt helps Austrian brands turn a product idea into a documented, repeatable production route with the technical detail needed for the first run and the next one.
Develop a focused collection from a 50-piece starting point, with material, fit, and finish decisions reviewed before bulk.
Translate a product direction into a brief for fleece, jersey, woven, denim, or outerwear; confirm construction and production feasibility with the selected partner.
Define label requirements, inspection criteria, and product records for retailer or corporate private-label collections in the order brief.
Product development
The collection can move across everyday knits, wovens, denim, and technical layers while retaining a clear record of what was approved.
01
Product briefs can specify jersey, French terry, fleece, rib, or other knit structures for tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, and coordinated sets, subject to partner capability and sampling.
Specify fabric weight and hand-feel in the brief; confirm available constructions during sampling.
02
Cotton twill, poplin, linen blends, and lightweight woven constructions for shirts, overshirts, trousers, utility shapes, and resort-led capsules.
Define pattern, shrinkage, and seam-finish requirements in the sample brief and agree the checks.
03
If outerwear is in scope, specify the required shell, lining, closures, and weather performance; confirm available construction and evidence with the selected partner.
Set the intended weather and wear profile, then confirm feasible construction and performance checks.
04
For denim and durable casual products, specify the desired fabric, wash, reinforcement, and hardware; confirm feasible methods with the selected partner.
Agree how wash, hardware, and construction will be reviewed before bulk production.
Technical snapshot
These working parameters give the first conversation a useful shape. The final technical record is agreed around the product itself.
Starting quantity
50 pieces per style
Sampling
10–15 production days plus 3–5 days for courier shipping
Bulk production
15–20 days from approved pre-production sample to export dispatch
Quality control

Commercial route
DAP for small-batch courier or FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight, as agreed per order
The workflow
01
Share the product direction, references, target quantity, delivery window, and any existing tech pack. The first review identifies construction and material decisions.
02
Patterns, BOM, fabric qualities, trims, labels, and packaging are aligned so the sample represents the product you actually intend to sell.
03
Sampling is planned for 10–15 production days plus 3–5 days for courier shipping. Fit, color, shrinkage, and finishing are reviewed against the agreed sample brief; confirm dates for the order.
04
After pre-production sample approval, the approved planning reference is 15–20 days to export dispatch. Confirm materials, capacity, and schedule for the order.
05
The written order inspection plan defines which measurement, workmanship, and visual checks apply and who records the results before dispatch.
06
The order records its agreed Incoterm, route, named delivery point, documents, and responsibilities before dispatch.
Austria readiness
The production route is easier to manage when label language, restricted-substance expectations, origin details, and delivery season are addressed before bulk.
For textile products within scope of EU Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011, confirm fibre-composition information and applicable label language for the sales market. Austria also lists a national regulation on textile care-labelling symbols; verify product scope, German consumer wording, and care instructions for the product and sales channel.
For goods entering the EU from a non-EU origin, identify the importer, declarant, customs representative, and place of clearance for the shipment. Classification depends on the garment's construction and materials and can affect customs duties and restrictions, so no tariff code or rate is assumed.
Austria's Federal Ministry of Finance says economic operators with a registered office or residence in Austria must register for EORI when their business activities are subject to customs law, including importer, exporter, or declarant roles. Confirm who has each role; check import VAT and tax treatment with the Austrian importer or a qualified adviser.
Assess applicable REACH restrictions for the actual materials and trims; confirm evidence or testing needed for the product with the importer or a qualified adviser.
Set delivery dates from the market launch calendar, confirmed production schedule, and route-specific transit estimate.

Quality control
A private-label program needs more than a final glance. Each checkpoint is tied back to the approved specification and sample.
If required, the order plan can define checks for fabric weight, color, hand feel, lab dips, or material consistency and identify the partner evidence to record.
The inspection plan can identify in-process checks for stitch, seam construction, alignment, measurements, and finishing, with corrective actions agreed for the order.
The agreed inspection plan defines checks against the approved sample and measurement record; AQL 2.5 is used only when specified in that plan.
Questions, answered
The standard starting quantity is 50 pieces per style. The practical plan depends on the fabric, color split, size run, and construction.
Fabric qualities, GSM, color, trims, labels, and packaging can be specified in the brief. Confirm availability and feasibility with the selected partner and validate agreed details through sampling.
Patterns, POM measurements, material behavior, and the approved sample are used as the production reference. Shrinkage and finishing are reviewed before bulk signoff.
Sampling is planned for 10–15 production days plus 3–5 days for courier shipping. Bulk production is planned for 15–20 days from approved pre-production sample to export dispatch. Confirm the schedule for the order.
DAP may be agreed for small-batch courier shipments; FOB Chattogram may be agreed for bulk sea freight. Confirm the route, named destination, transit estimate, and each party’s responsibilities in the written order.
