Private Label Clothing for UAE Brands
A private-label order connects a brand identity to garments made against an agreed specification. A clear brief, traceable sample approvals, a written quality plan and product-specific import checks help the buyer and production team resolve decisions before bulk work begins.
Fenalt coordinates private-label apparel through managed manufacturing and sourcing. Production partners, materials, scope and terms are assessed for the project; they are confirmed for the actual order rather than assumed from a location or category.
Turn brand choices into a production brief
Describe the garment category and use, fit and size range, construction, material and verified fibre content, colours, trims, branding placement, label artwork and packaging. Break quantities down by style, colour and size, and include destination and desired timing. Attach the current tech pack or reference files, identify the controlling version, and separate confirmed details from questions that need sampling or feasibility review.
Fenalt manages the project from technical review through production coordination to delivery. Factories, suppliers, material sources and production partners are selected according to project requirements. Fenalt is not a factory directory or open marketplace and does not claim to own production facilities. Confirm production origin, partner availability, materials, scope and commercial terms for each order.
Reference images can communicate intent, but do not settle measurements, composition, construction or placement. Put those decisions in the written brief and check them against the approved sample.
Keep branding and sample approvals traceable
List the labels, tags, artwork, prints, embroidery, trims and packaging that carry the brand. Include file versions, placements, wording and any buyer-supplied materials. Fenalt coordinates custom branding, labels and tags within a confirmed project scope; feasibility, supplier, material availability and final terms need review for the particular order.
Agree who reviews each sample and the criteria they will use. Check fit, measurements, colour, material hand-feel, construction, branding placement and packaging. Record accepted changes in a dated specification revision and keep it with the approved sample that controls bulk production.
Set quantities and planning references
Fenalt's standard minimum order reference is 50 pieces per style. Confirm the style definition and quantity breakdown in the project quotation; do not assume different styles, colours or fabric requirements combine toward one minimum.
Sampling reference
10–15 days for sample production, plus a separate 3–5 days for shipping.
Bulk production reference
15–20 days from pre-production sample sign-off to export dispatch.
These are planning references, not an arrival date or unconditional delivery promise. Materials, approvals, revisions, production partners and shipment arrangements can affect the schedule. Confirm dates and scope for the order.
Agree quality criteria before bulk production
Define the approved sample, measurement points and tolerances, construction and material criteria, inspection scope, records and corrective-action process in writing. AQL 2.5 under ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 General Inspection Level II applies only when included in the written inspection plan with its sampling method and acceptance limits. AQL is a sampling method; it does not mean every unit is inspected or guarantee defect-free production.
Fenalt provides on-site quality control during production. Deviations are reviewed against the agreed quality standard, with appropriate corrective action coordinated with the production partner. Needle or metal detection can be incorporated when required by the product, buyer specification or production facility. Confirm the exact activities for the order instead of assuming a universal inspection or testing package.
Check UAE import and product requirements
Product classification and customs treatment depend on garment details, material, origin and the transaction. The UAE's Central Customs Tariff System provides commodity search, duty estimation and information about restrictions and requirements. Use the current product description and evidence to confirm the correct code and treatment with the relevant customs authority or appointed customs representative. No garment duty percentage or origin preference is assumed here.
VAT is a separate check. The Federal Tax Authority explains VAT treatment on imports: for a recipient registered for VAT, it says import VAT is due using the reverse-charge mechanism; for a recipient not registered, it says VAT must be paid before release. Determine how that guidance applies to the actual importer, transaction and current rules with a UAE tax adviser or the authority before calculating landed cost. This page does not estimate VAT or customs charges.
Cabinet Resolution No. 54 of 2019 on control of textile products describes a scheme covering specified textile products, including new ready-to-wear clothing, subject to its scope, components and exclusions. Requirements include matters such as care and component labels and specified product criteria. Ask the UAE importer or a qualified product-compliance reviewer to check whether the exact garment is in scope and what current assessment, testing and label details apply before artwork is approved. Do not assume a universal bilingual label format or imply Fenalt guarantees compliance.
Confirm the shipment handover
Record production origin, named destination, shipment size, documents, transport responsibility and the agreed Incoterm in the order. DAP may be used for small-batch courier shipments and FOB Chattogram for bulk sea freight, subject to confirmation for the actual project and route. The quotation and term do not by themselves establish duty, tax, customs clearance, all-in landed cost or arrival date.
The buyer or importer should confirm who acts as importer and declarant, product classification, origin evidence, import declarations, applicable taxes, label requirements and other destination checks with the relevant customs, tax and product specialists. Fenalt coordinates the agreed production and shipment workflow but does not provide a universal compliance or customs-clearance guarantee.
Prepare the next review
Gather the controlling tech pack, quantities by style and variant, material and branding decisions, label and packaging files, desired sample stage, destination and timing. Name the approval owner and mark open questions. Share a production brief or review Fenalt's services.
